Oh for sure. And I think that's why the first album furthered his legacy. Cause even though the quality was a little watered down. Nas was still able to do something that not a lot of artists from the 90's have been able to do. Which is adapt his sound and make an album that could be appreciated by newer generations. He floated on the trap beats and showed his versatility in that sense.
Now with this new album I'm hoping they found that middle ground. I don't mind some trap and new age tracks. But also wanna hear Nas snapping on some breakbeats again. And I think they're gonna do it. I got a feeling this is gonna be crazy too.
