I know Nas doesn’t go back to the well much but i’d LOVE a King’s Disease “Grammy Edition” deluxe version with a few new joints on there.
My sister in law (VERY SHALLOW 24 year old) was just speaking to my wife yesterday about how much she hates Nas and everything about Nas. Hates his voice and everything and brought up Jay and my wife was like “u buggin the fukk out and what the fukk Jay gotta do with anything? Why people can’t like both?” and they almost got into a heated argument over it. Lol.

Apparently Nas & Hit Boy played some unreleased songs at the celebration last night
Why is there no volume
What producer you prefer or you prefer multiple?I could go for a King's Disease special edition and then on top the next project. If it's gonna be produced by a single producer I would prefer it to not be hit boy. There's nothing wrong with hit but I just want a change of pace.
And if anybody thinks I'm a dusty old head who just wants illmatic 2021, I bought King's Disease on mp3 on day one and I also bought the vinyl edition.

I just had a interesting conversation with somebody that has worked with him.. They said the other project he was working on he has no clue about what would actually make the album but said he has songs locked in with Alchemist, Madlib, Havoc that were all recorded within the past year and a half. My take is he was about to release a boom bap album but the reception to the Lost Tapes 2 wasn't what he expected. I think he thought with Rza Pete Rock Alchemist etc that fans would go crazy but people still complained. So he tried something different with Hit-Boy and struck gold.I loved KD because most of his talk on there was grown man shyt that I completely related to...heavily female/relationship centric, reflective, etc...but he gotta feed the hip hop heads now who want some bangers and shyt. I'd rather he go with a different producer(s) for the next couple joints and explore new terrain...or visit some old spots he hasn't touched in a while, as opposed to locking in with Hitboy again so soon. A Nas Escobar-ish album right now would hit different,

I'll absolutely take another Hit-Boy album.. Going from the Cure to Spicy let me know his bag is unlimited. He can give you whatever you want.Interesting.
People bytching about Lost Tapes 2 is exactly why i’ll never knock Nas for for refusing to stay stagnant with the Boom Bap sound. He can do whatever he wants with whatever producer he wants and if he never goes back to that “classic” NY sound again you won’t hear a complaint out of me.
I DO think he’ll work with Premier again. And the way he was hyping up the “secret” project seemed more than just the odd collection of beats from the “usual” suspects.
But I guess we’ll see. Personally I have no problem whatsoever if he runs it back with Hit Boy, but then again i’m looking forward to whatever he decides to do next
