I’m cool with more Hit Boy but would like other people brought in. Similar to how Hit Boy exec produced Sean’s album, allowing other producers to send a couple beats. Could be a good way to get heat from Swizz and Timbo without allowing them to sneak wack shyt in lol.

Maybe get some guys like Alchemist and Premo involved. Alch providing loops and Hit Boy doing the trap sequencing would be wild for instance.
I think Nas definitely has more coming by this summer. Maybe that secret project he was referring to?

Look... if Nas fully emptied the vaults (Sony, Def Jam, and Mass Appeal) and gave ALL (over the course of a few years); I'm talking the good, the bad, and the ugly... I'm fine with not getting more Nasty Nas, Nas Escobar, or even Nastradamus. I'm sure we'd get plenty if he emptied the vaults. Nas could then continue to push the envelope with his new sound. We'd be getting what we want. Boom Bap Nas. Lost Tapes and street shyt.

Think about it.

I wonder if the Grammy win makes it more likely Sony will cooperate and release some older stuff.

Nas pretty much confirmed that the Sony vaults are staying shut. And I get the feeling Nas isn’t as attached to that music as certain fans are.

We more than likely have better chances of getting the Def Jam songs. Nas promised Lost Tapes 3 and I can name several songs from both Hip Hop Is Dead and Untitled that either haven’t been heard or exist only in bootleg versions.

Not to mention the work that he put in with Mass Appeal. There’s sessions that exist with Lupe Fiasco, Big Krit, Fashawn, Benny The Butcher and others that i’m sure produced some exciting stuff

Ya'll gotta get over them Sony and Def Jam Vaults. Nas is so far removed from that era. I imagine he's recorded a lot over the last 5 years, he's not thinking about 10-20 year old songs.

I’m just sayin’ if y’all want Nasty Nas or Nas Escobar, those vaults will probably be the only place to get them at this point. Lost Tapes 3 could give you some but more mature, season veteran Nas is what we will be getting from now on.
