I think they should chill on the follow up. Too soon especially if it don’t add up to a kings disease. Too much pressure.
I think firm album, this secret album he had planned with Dre or whoever (jay-z I heard a rumor), lost tapes, then follow up and let the king retire.
Retire why?
Retirement should be a feeling thing, not a traditionalist, "I should retire because I'm this age/been doing it this long" thing. That's why so many musicians come out of their "retirements". If he still feels like he got some shyt to say that's hot or beneficial over some beats that move him then aint no reason at all to hang it up. Retire when the feeling/love to do it subsides.
Nah Esco got more heat comingI think they should chill on the follow up. Too soon especially if it don’t add up to a kings disease. Too much pressure.

Pressure
If they made a GREAT album once they can certainly do it again. At this point I highly doubt Nas and Hit Boy would even team up again if they didn’t KNOW they could outdo King’s Disease
Having said that, Nas rarely goes to the same well twice for musical inspiration. So a double up with Hit Boy probably isn’t in the immediate works
I’d imagine every artist feels some type of pressure in the studio to make something good but I don’t think there would be any additional or extra pressure for Nas following up KD. He’s followed up great albums before, he knows what to do. LeBron might feel some jitters early in a playoff game but after a couple minutes he’s good because he’s been there before. Same with Nas or anyone else who has done his/her thing on a high musical level right?so you don’t think nas, the way he is, would feel any pressure at all to go into a second Album to be on the level of the first one? He didn’t want to even make a stillmatic album for those reasons.

The same man who follows up Illmatic with It Was Written and Stillmatic with Gods Son is quaking in his boots at the thought of following up Kings Disease
