low key one of his best songs illustrating what you talking about
As I said, once you start looking at unreleased Nas, he obliterates 99% of rappers
This is bullshyt. How is "The Message," "Take It In Blood," "Escobar 97," "Suspect," "Shootouts," "Silent Murder," etc. pop R&B bullshyt?

This isn't a real song, it features verses from other songs and Nas never rapped on this beat.
I think it depends on what type of beats you're looking for...Jay definitely got some duds too...but I do think Jays ear WAS better than Nas' at one point. But Nas got CLASSSIC SHYT....case in point...Na, Jay's production is far better than Nas' and I'm a Nas stan.
Gotta keep it real.
This is just about as subjective as a conversation can be. For the record I disagree, but I can't tell u that what u think is great production isn't great.
To me just some of the people that have consistently been on better production than Nas are Jay, Big, Mase, Fab, Ross, Drake, Beans, Kanye, just about everyone from prime Rocafella, Snoop, Dre, these are just some that I can think of off the top, there's plenty more that it's very debateable to me. With that said, to me, it's not even a question if Nas is even in the conversation of best overall production over the course of his career. I think that just speaks to how talented he really is though, most rappers survive off of great production first and foremost, Nas on the other hand is one of the GOATs in spite of his production. Not saying his beats have been bad, but they haven't carried him like so many other rappers.
Nas on those on rozay featureslow key fat joe an rozay are somewhere in the top 5....nas aint
