I could make a good album out of those 3 albums... i almost didnt put blue carpet treatment on MY list... idk why he doesnt have more single producer albums, he seems to shine on those. Doggystyle, bush was good, 7 days of funk...

Nas has no terrible albums, especially in an era where the most popular rappers sound like they're singing into electric fans

As much as I dislike it, I would still play it before I play a Future or Migos record
as weak as something like Nastradamus is in comparison to the rest of his catalog it still has tracks on it that are better than whatevers popping right now
same applies to Jay, his weakest albums would likewise be one of these rappers best efforts
Let one of these mumble trap autotune nikkas drop something like Vol.1 and you'd all hail it as a classic

Did they both have some albums that didnt live up to OUR very high expectations? Yes. But I wouldnt call them weed plates.

The singles didn’t connect. Jay tried to make a bad boy album and it didn’t work. It was considered a disappointment in 97.
