Didnt watch the canon movie yet(about to), but if the series focused more on Hinata she could have become a complete beast. Plus she is RIDE OR DIE!

Don't really consider Sasuke's win against Deidara a full win for Sasuke. Deidara could have legit killed Sasuke. Plus one can argue that the 9 tails is apart of Naruto's natural abilities. I mean he would die without it.

That's like saying Sasuke only beat so n so because of his sharingan.
You know what i hate about that Sakura is useless argument tho? If we're being honest, at a certain point during probably the Pain arc, like 95% of the cast became mad worthless. Sakura is highlighted because look who her teammates are, but I mean what did Kiba, Shino, and the rest of them nikkas really do throughout Shippuden that really mattered besides maybe catch an Akatsuki body? Sakura gets a bad wrap for being useless when basically most of the Leaf Village was super trash when it really mattered. Konohamaru took down a Pain body while nikkas was sitting on the sidelines watching Pain murder Naruto and Hinata.
After that arc the only nikkas who mattered were Tailed Beasts owners, Sharingan owners, and Kage level shinobi, which comes up to about 20 shinobi all together during the war.
The thing is they werent main characters so they have that excuse. Sakura was a main character but more importantly of TEAM 7. Not only that she was constantly regarded as the next Tsunade and always grouped with Sasuka and Naruto as the next legendary Sanin but she never did anything noteworthy besides help beating Sasori early in the Shippuden. More importantly to me her goals were silly and not that deep. 1. Trying to "catch up" to Sasuke and Naruto. 2. chasing after Sasuke.You know what i hate about that Sakura is useless argument tho? Sakura has no excuse but to be fair, she's compared to two nikkas who constantly get power-ups the entire show while she just walks around with a bead glued to her head from Claire's.
She was being trained by a Legendary Sanin.
And it showed when she fought. She still didn't have any power-ups like Too Much Sauce and Young Uzi Christ were constantly getting tho so what did people actually expect from her?
I understand that after Naruto and Sasuke got the upgrade from Hagoromo was essentially game over for her ever catching up. But before the Great War there was enough time for her to train in some deadly ass forbidden jutsus. I mean she proved herself capable of learning Tsunade's advanced jutsus.
