Then Tobi shown getting his ass stomped by the Flying Thunder God during the Kyuubi attack could have been a teenaged Obito. Kakashi was shown to at least be a little bit older than he was during KG.

I mean at this point, who else could it be? Shisui is ruled out because he is about Itachi's age and Itachi was a little kid during the Kyuubi attack.

Add that with the fact that Tobi knew clearly that Kakashi's eye techniques couldn't work on him, and the fact that what he said implies that he knows both Kakashi and Gai personally, its a wrap.

Plus, like someone posted in another thread...Kishi wrote the script for the new movie, and allegedly in the film Tobi takes his mask off and its revealed to be Obito.

You ruled out Shisui because of his age, but Obito could not have been any older than 13-14 fighting against Minato

people talk Sauske's powerups and Naruto's powerups...well if Tobi is Obito, then Obito clearly ascended quicker than them

Nah I'm not buying it. The way he spoke to Kakashi and Gai was like they had met before. He even specifically said to Gai that he doesn't remember faces anyway so why would it matter if he told him who he was. They've met before.
