This power-up isn't something that Kishi just threw in. He informed the readers that juugo powers has senjutsu in them, so juugo giving sasuke senjutsu powers in order to be effective against obito isn't ridiculous. I don't think this puts him on Naruto's level, just makes him effective against obito.
