NARUTO might be a better show than DBZ

Boku no hero Academia is already doing everything Naruto was SUPPOSED to do the right way

I think the problem was that Naruto had too many similarities to other animes such as Hunter x Hunter. The new direction of Boruto seems to sway in a different direction. Both animes are pretty good. Boku no hero academia and Boruto seem to shed light on other characters. One thing, I never liked about DBZ, is that we always knew Goku and Vegeta are 1 million times more powerful than everyone else and every other character is irrelevant.

I could write a book on how bad Naruto became, I mean the show had huge flaws even from the beginning
1. Naruto's mantra of hard work and determination, but it turns out that he's the chosen one and came from ninja royalty and was given one of the greatest powers of the whole show from his birth
2. Naruto stayed tryna save a nikka who kept tryna kill him, the bytch he was into, and all his peoples
3. The war arc
Ironically the thing yall complain about DBZ writing themselves into a corner and having to give power ups to keep the show going is the same thing Naruto did in part 2. nikkas went from fighting Orochimaru, to an evil organization, to a mf who been dead for centuries, to space aliens
Whole time they giving power ups out like free condoms at the first week of college
Hunter x Hunter and Yu yu Hakusho are the GOAT shonens

Naruto is pretty much the Shonen Harry Potter. Dragon ball/Z were original and innovative.

Ichigo is a half Quincy half Shinigami Hollow prodigy too, Luffy pops is another gangster ass nikka, Gon come from a strong ass lineage too. Even Yusuke Urameshi his pops was a demon lord too put some respect on Goku and for that matter Vegeta they got it out the mud thru training and fighting

The only similarity between Hunter x Hunter and Naruto is the two main characters in each show are prodigies
Boku no Hero and Hunter x Hunter have actual character development and let the side characters shine, the main character actually has to learn and train to use his powers, and they take plenty of Ls along the way

Not every character has a backstory in the middle of a fight. Plus the backstory is to give description to there emotional drive of why they want to do what they do. and there character.

Powers seem "retarded"? well thats some very valid reasoning

the show still has focus, and even more added "focus" but nonetheless finding the One Piece is still it and vital

Luffy- is considered the unoffical 5th emperor and is about to fight a Yonkou(Kaido) to establish himself and take a step closer to Pirate king. He also has 2 road poneglyps and only needs 2 more to reach Raftel. He also has a fleet.
Zoro- is one of the strongest swordsmen and is a few steps plus 1 or 2 powerups from being at Mihawks level. Plus was trained by him so he is at a extraordinary tier where he is not that far from Mihawk
Nami- Her goal progresses as the story does, so as the story progress as does Nami. So yes she is getting closer to her dream
Usopp- same as Nami, except he is a warrior and more and more proving himself as a warrior. and living up to even certain titles he puts on himself(like god Usopp, Sniper king/Sogeking, etc)
Sanji- All Blue is in the same vein as OP, will be seen same time when we see that treasure. and were not that far from that.
Chopper- there on a country that will likely help him in coming up with a cure-all medicine.
Robin- She and Luffys goal is interconnected as Luffy gets closer to finding One Piece as does she with her Goal. So progress? Yes
Franky - Yes, as the SHs are traveling the world, so every arc is progress for him as his goal is for his ship to sail the world.
Brook- Yep,same as Franky and Nami in terms of "progress". will be achieved by end of series

the reason I aint list shyt, is because Im going off objective factors which I listed more than its popular. I also mentioned about its critical acclaim. The average view of OP is that its one of the best series. Both by hardcore fans, casuals etc.
