And which Bleach Ichigo's fights are kinda repetitive too. In Ichigo's first fight with Renji he gets the beats till he gets a random powerup. In his second fight with Renji, he gets another powerup and KO's Renji in 1 hit. And the fight with Grimmjow. Ichigo's fights is him getting the beats, gaining his resolve and beating the enemy in 1 hit

Nah I can't agree with this. Naruto instantly fell off when the world building was put aside for Naruto and Sasuke becoming the gods.

I get the parallels they wanted to show with the three sannin and team 7 but they took it too far. Kakashi's team with Obito was the same, and Nagato and his crew.

Shippuden peaked during the Pain saga. It didn't have a good showing 80% of the time.

Rock Lee, Neji, Sakura, Shikimaru all got benched in Shippuden for Naruto and Sasuke.

I dig both but vanilla Naruto definitely had a more developed plot, better pacing when it came to fights, and a way more likeable underdog imo. With DBZ, you got a better developed cast and snarky ass villians.


Y'all should really compare the shows to the peers of their time tho
