NARUTO might be a better show than DBZ

First gen Naruto is better. If you count Naruto Shippuden and the rest then it is not.

I have rarely seen a breakdown while being on the path of being the GOAT like Naruto. To the point I believe Masashi Kishimoto was kidnapped or threatened to make the manga go a certain way.

By Pain arc the whole manga turned to a shytfest and repeatedly stomped on all the principles that made it great. It's like it was suddenly written by a 11 years old trying to create his dream fanfiction.

We went from a show about child soldiers, fighting fatality and determinism, friendship and exclusion to some BS. shyt was a masterpiece.

Everybody resuscitate after Pain? Garbage
The Great Ninja War? Garbage
Sasuke? Garbage
Fights that were supposed to be ninja ans strategic and turned into a Walmart version of DBZ? Garbage
The emotion and symbolism? Garbage
Character development and their motivations? Garbage
Fan service? Garbage

I'd rather watch Dragon Ball GT than the ending of Naruto.

DBZ never committed that much mistakes and was pretty well rounded by the end of the Buu saga.

Now if you count Dragon Ball Super... I don't know, I never brought myself to watch it. Too scared it might be trash.

Super is crack and it fleshed out the Universe a lot the worst part would be the end of the Zamasu arc everything else is fire

It really just depends on what you're looking for.

DBZ has a simple story and is more about action, whereas Naruto is more plot-based and has tons of angst and tragic backstories. Naruto is probably better on paper, but DBZ started the Shonen shyt. There probably wouldn't be a Naruto without Dragonball.

Just so u know off rip, if you wanna skip the first 2 arcs then just watch the movies Battle of the Gods and Ressurection of F. They cover those completely, but there are slight differences between the movies and the series like some fights happen differently. Also be prepared for a lighter tone than Z up until the Goku Black/Zamasu season which is top 3 in all DB, and the Tournament of Power gonna put hair on ya chest real shyt lol enjoy bro

I caught bout 30 consecutive naruto episodes and some when I used to watch my nephews, it only got worse with time.

Bleach was live but lost interest shortly after ichigo had to fight the old dude and rukia was locked up like Rapunzel.

Grew up on dbz and went back and watched Dragonball, z, and gt in like 2010 and I would probably say Dragonball smash most mentioned.

Naruto like that person in a clique that was always in special ed

DBZ and to a greater extent Super is a show for teens. Simple bigbbad of the week story arcs. No main good character ever dies, and fights are all about power levels with 90% of the main caste bring rendered useless.

Vegeta is the only character that has had any sort of character development.

Super was God level trash. Goku black arc may have been the most meaningless and ridiculous arc in Shonen history




Meanwhile Boruto is continuing the feeling.

Yes the compelling story arc when an alien attacks as Naruto uses his spirit bomb to win.
