Why didn't you include comments about George Wallace being "like Hitler," or his fear of the US moving toward genocide, or his visit to a Wallace rally being like a Nazi rally? @śïñe•qúå_nøn

He stated that YEARS after. 1986.

He is a flip-flopper -- and changes his message to his audience and goal. So, after he SAID WHAT HE SAID -- Bernie comes back and talks against the man he admired.

Post what misinformation I have spewed.

I'll respectfully wait

What has Bernie said about Parchment?

Bernie could care less about WEALTH EQUALITY -- because he doesn't support reparations.

What has Bernie said about Environmental Racism -- and it's affects in BLACK communities. That thousands are dying from yearly.

Gaslighting.

This is about him supporting a historic racist. Again, let someone support or hell -- understanding... to anyone that showed his people bigotry and violence. They would be Anti-Semitic.

Saying “he listens to people” isn’t supporting

you are drawing a false equivalency

he did not agree with his policies
he did not advocate for segregation

he said “he listens to people”

you need to read

Again, these are Yang and Bernie's talking points -- cause they both are socialist.

No, MLK did not pivot - he was firmly vested and fighting for BLACK AMERICANS -- not the "working class" -- all lives matter.

Take some time and read about KING. Where Do We Go from Here: Chaos or Community?|Paperback -- and it's clear -- and he's clear about his fight and advocacy.
MLKJr. took on a larger platform, the same as Huey and Malcolm X; when he realised that a full-community mobilization and a class-based tactic was the best avenue for brining the broad change he wanted.

You cannot have one without the other.

Read it -- and it doesn't not specific Black American communities. Our communities have SPECIFIC and historical issues with lead, toxic dumping/waste and more -- and it is not mentioned. Nor spoken about by ANY of the backers of this program. Even Harriet Washington, have spoken on this.

  • Transform our energy system to 100 percent renewable energy and create 20 million jobs needed to solve the climate crisis.
  • Ensure a just transition for communities and workers, including fossil fuel workers.
  • Ensure justice for frontline communities, especially under-resourced groups, communities of color, Native Americans, people with disabilities, children and the elderly.
  • Save American families money with investments in weatherization, public transportation, modern infrastructure and high-speed broadband.
  • Commit to reducing emissions throughout the world, including providing $200 billion to the Green Climate Fund, rejoining the Paris Agreement, and reasserting the United States’ leadership in the global fight against climate change.
  • Invest in conservation and public lands to heal our soils, forests, and prairie lands.
  • End the greed of the fossil fuel industry and hold them accountable.

I read. It's not about agreeing with - nor advocating - he is showing understanding and empathy to racist.

You need to get it.

You asked for "environmental racism" I gave you that exact phrase explicitly used in the platform itself.

I'm incredibly familiar (as you know) with issues that affect my community.
So if he's pushing policy that will have a significant macro- and micro- effect; I'm going to support him, that doesn't mean I have to be a fan of the guy, or also not want a greater focus on the effects of late-capitalism and neoliberalism on the AA community here in the US.
