Honestly all them british blokes when they are playing americans.
Not that i have anything against them, i just think there generic accents are better suited for supporting roles. Gets grating after a while when they have the carry most of the dialog for a film.
Although it does work somewhat better in period films, If they are playing like a civil soldier or something like that.
But modern day films? nah

I think a lot of people feel the same way u do. For instance, Idris Elba can't sell a movie if he's the lead and he's cosplaying as a Black American lol
