my guess is it maybe my internet connection

so if my internet isn't fast enough for 4k itll only display 1080p option? as my tvs built in youtube app will only show HD and not 4K

Naw that shouldn't be the case. Got to YT settings on the Pro and erase cookies and see if that helps
