Re-signing Rose would be a huge mistake and signal that it is business as usual with the Knicks. Let him walk and thank him for his services, but given the toxic relationship that is Knick fans and Dolan he will re-sign and the Knicks ceiling will remain being the East Coast Clippers.

More or less, have him come off the books with Noah, maybe Rose looks like a good trade asset. Keep drafting players and developing them. By the time Rose and Noah comes off the books KP will be 23-24. Still young enough to build around and teams can't give 200+ mil to every great player. Look at the thunder.

The Knicks are going to have to sign Rose, hopefully on a 2+1 year deal because Melo will come off the books after the next 2 seasons.

See where they are both at with the possibility of cleaning out both after that 2018-2019 season.

That has to be the way going forward and I think the Knicks can get away with it given Rose's injury history.

Knowing the Knicks they will sign Rose to a 4 year deal and I will lose my fukking mind.
