This team Isn't finish rebuilding.
Of course not.

And outside of a minority of posters(who aren't regulars) saying "Chip! Chip!" not one of the Knick brehs even hinted that this team is in that conversation.

I know it's trolling(which is funny) but there are brehs & twitter journalists who legit make up this imaginary faction of Knicks fans that they complain, "Man, I hope yall delusional knicks fans saw last night. Yall NOT a super team."

Brehs stay shadow boxing against the illusory knick fan to fan the flames of their own bullshyt.

Dream, not saying you do that, you're post just made me think about this.

The typical Knick fan, in my opinion, is more of the @I.V. vein. Much more pragmatic and pessimistic about the team. Then there are the @storyteller -esque fans who have the pragmatism but hold onto a slightly optimistic and uplifting view mixed in.

Then, there are the fans like me who still rely a bit on my childish optimism. And even I don't see anything like 'contender' for years.

@nieman good point about being worried that Porzingis might be being modest on demanding the ball. I truly hope not...

Flashbacks of Allan Houston, capable of scorying 25+ a game off jump shots, being too timid to take over games. :mjcry:

Yeah. Games like last night should be where he flourishes. He's younger, pick up the slack, play more aggressive..at least have the energy. The game is too easy for him for him to play like last night. He barely tried to blow past Love or Tristan Thompson. I do want to see him play with O'Quinn more...so that's he's not pushed around as much off his spots...Or play Noah with the second unit more along side KP cook them.

Ha.

No, we do engage in the "Now what, muh fukka" when we have a good stretch or moment of glory... but do a lot of us say, "Motirmer, we're baack!" on some trading places shyt? I don't know.

I feel you, though.

With that being said, though, when Rose comes back....

Pushing Melo is a good thing. He's been told everything is great since he's been here and the team has sucked. Moving the ball more = good.

Doing that thru the media is an awful decision...and that isnt going to push Melo. Its going to create unecessary conflict, who comes out and says shyt like that during a 4 game winning streak :mjlol:

About last night's game, though...

The Cavs offense, in particular...

YO... that pace and fluidity in the first 7 minutes was i.n.t.i.m.i.d.a.t.i.n.g as fukk.

I legitimately felt like the Knicks were my son who's been making great gains in karate class and I've been so proud because he's been practicing and showing crazy potential...:gladbron:

Then we go to the first real tournament and the Cavs were this phenom 8 year old martial arts savant who was on the sideline before the match like :demonic:

I instantly felt scared for them. :whoo::merchant:
