Many of us thank Phil for that, too.

im just glad phils gone
no more outdated triangle
no more forcing hornacek to coach said triangle
no more sasha
no more rambis
no more alienating of players you want to trade (still think melo should be traded....but in a more respectful manner)

Good :obama: :blessed:
Now find another home for Carmelo
bruh, come on. this only solidifies melo playing out the remainder of his contract in NY. this gives melo a new reason/excuse to stay anyway. the guy is comfortable, and has never had any intentions of leaving. i came to grips with that a long time ago now.

and i wouldn't be surprised if d-rose is brought back because 1) they'll say that they can now see a full year of him without the triangle nonsense, 2) there is no other PG to go after via trade or free agency really, 3) frank isn't ready anyhow.

i just pray they don't give rose a long term deal and a ton of money. give him 2 years, so he and melo could bounce together.

and yes, david griffin would be an obvious choice...but the knicks don't make obvious choices.

:mjlol: @ dolan targeting ujiri because he fleeced him twice in trades...those are essentially the moves that define ujiri's career honestly. how much else has he really done in DEN and TOR? he wanted to get rid of lowry multiple times, and derozan was already there when ujiri arrived in 2013. :camby:

I feel like the Knicks took a huge step back. With Phil they at least had direction. That other outside of basketball shyt is irrelevant to me he was trying to get the program younger and on the right path. Only so much you can do when your forced to resign an albatross contract like Melo and forced to try to build around him.

I think it's just mixed emotions, you're casting a broad stroke, but we all been in this together and will possibly continue to bear it, so I don't see the need to shyt on anybody for seeing the bitter/sweet in this. We all just waiting for the next shoe to drop.
Breh, I'm not shytting on anybody. I'm trying to get the logic. The term "bittersweet" implies their was something sweet/good about the experience. Knicks season/off-season threads have been nothing but negative for a few years now. The reason? Phil Jackson and/or people who are a result of Phil Jackson. So the reason for that negativity is gone and there are mixed emotions? Over what?:gucci:How about we let these Dolan nightmares and the CAA boogeyman actually present themselves before we start bytching about it? I'm tired of Knicks threads being dumpster fires of negativity, breh:mjcry:

He was looking to keep Rose.

He was publicly destroying trade value.

He was keeping Rambis.

He was forcing Sasha Vujacic into the roster.

He was forcing an archaic offensive scheme that historically has only worked when you guys named Jordan and Kobe on your team.

He promised Melo he'd build around him.

Then he flipped on Melo and blew up team.

But he gave Melo the NTC.

So he resorted to petty and unprofessional antics on some "let me cause a roach infestation in my building so my long lease tenant - that I gave the lease to - gets compelled to leave.

He's a fukkboy.

He didn't know what the fukk he was doing.

Yo...some of the Knicks fans in here are legit LOOKING to argue with there fellow brehs...

nikkas assuming any happiness about Phil leaving means brehs want us to offer a 78 year old Bill Russell a fukking 4 year contract.

Get off yall fukking high horse. I thought brehs were becoming a bit more cohesive. :hhh:

@Illuminatos
Who is #1 pick?

A Knick breh?

Are Knicks fans saying this?
