Weird...And he drafted Frank Ntilikina over Dennis Smith Jr. Because he wanted Frank Ntilikina to run the Triangle.
From a Mavericks fan. I want to say thank you Phil Jackson.
Weird...
Many of us thank Phil for that, too.

bruh, come on. this only solidifies melo playing out the remainder of his contract in NY. this gives melo a new reason/excuse to stay anyway. the guy is comfortable, and has never had any intentions of leaving. i came to grips with that a long time ago now.Good
Now find another home for Carmelo
That dudes knee is a ticking time bomb. Good luck with that.
Who is saying this?Sign Chris Paul and Wade? nikkas want the Knicks to rot in mediocrity.
Breh, I'm not shytting on anybody. I'm trying to get the logic. The term "bittersweet" implies their was something sweet/good about the experience. Knicks season/off-season threads have been nothing but negative for a few years now. The reason? Phil Jackson and/or people who are a result of Phil Jackson. So the reason for that negativity is gone and there are mixed emotions? Over what? How about we let these Dolan nightmares and the CAA boogeyman actually present themselves before we start bytching about it? I'm tired of Knicks threads being dumpster fires of negativity, brehI think it's just mixed emotions, you're casting a broad stroke, but we all been in this together and will possibly continue to bear it, so I don't see the need to shyt on anybody for seeing the bitter/sweet in this. We all just waiting for the next shoe to drop.
He was looking to keep Rose.I feel like the Knicks took a huge step back. With Phil they at least had direction. That other outside of basketball shyt is irrelevant to me he was trying to get the program younger and on the right path. Only so much you can do when your forced to resign an albatross contract like Melo and forced to try to build around him.

Honestly, the best move for the Knicks is a fight to sign CP3 and go for broke in 2018 for LeBron and Wade. They need to buyout Noah contract.
They could rebuild as well and join Atlanta and Chicago from the East as team's rebuilding
