I feel like the Knicks took a huge step back. With Phil they at least had direction. That other outside of basketball shyt is irrelevant to me he was trying to get the program younger and on the right path. Only so much you can do when your forced to resign an albatross contract like Melo and forced to try to build around him.

Yeah I'm still worried that Phil is gone simply because of trying to buyout Melo and go young

Im no fan of Phil but if young players and draft picks are traded for a veteran then this will be a disaester

Nope. Dolan has been hands off with the Knicks and Rangers since the mid 00's. The only difference is the Ranger's have someone good running the operation, and the Knicks have kept on missing. Dolan will just hire someone else and hand over all authority to them like he's been doing the last decade.

Yeah the approach Dolan has taken with the Rangers is one of the main reasons for their success, I knew he wouldn't be that way with the Knicks on a long term basis. The fear I have is that Dolan and the person he hires decides to forego building through the draft and decides to focus on building through free agency.

So the people who are on the roster are showing efforts to be cordial and have good relationships...

The nikka who was thrown out of the fukking house was the toxic one and nikkas still WANT TO BE MAD.

fukk them, then. Let's go Frank/KP

We'll see. When Melo is here till his contract ends then obviously it would show that ownership wanted to keep Melo

He was looking to keep Rose.

He was publicly destroying trade value.

He was keeping Rambis.

He was forcing Sasha Vujacic into the roster.

He was forcing an archaic offensive scheme that historically has only worked when you guys named Jordan and Kobe on your team.

He promised Melo he'd build around him.

Then he flipped on Melo and blew up team.

But he gave Melo the NTC.

So he resorted to petty and unprofessional antics on some "let me cause a roach infestation in my building so my long lease tenant - that I gave the lease to - gets compelled to leave.

He's a fukkboy.

He didn't know what the fukk he was doing.

I dapped this because it's the truth but Dolan is a 100x worse. We getting another puppet who will trade all our picks for some washed veteran.

Ain't nothing to celebrate at this point.

Your own team wanted Frank bro, stop it.

No they didn't :mjlol:

The 2 players they really wanted was Jonathan Isaac and Dennis Smith Jr.

They fooled the Knicks into thinking they were interested in Frank Ntilikina. So, they would pass on Dennis Smith Jr.

Rick Carlisle and GM Donnie Nelson said this right after the draft.

Phil Jackson fell for the bait. :mjlol:

Enjoy your D-League point guard breh. :mjlol: Because the MAVS would've had him in the D-League to develop.
