Jesus christ I thought 7'0" might've been a overestimation, when it was actually 1 inch too short:wtf:

Dude is has a strong chance of being elite defensively just off of the strength of his wingspan. There are a lot of small fowards in the league who don't have that kind of length. fukk around and have a team in a few years that can switch everything and still be fine:banderas:

That's my dream. You pair Frank with a second ball handler (be they PG or SG) and let him develop as a defensive ace with his offensive contributions a bonus (and he has all of the foundations to become pretty damned good on that end as well). I liken him to Isaac...you can see the offensive skillset but it's not fully developed and it's gonna take time, however his defense is as close to a guarantee as it gets. Teach that boy a couple of post-up tricks and he'll be a nightmare for PG's off pick and rolls combined with off ball post-ups that throw the opposing defense off balance all night even if he never develops a crazy first step (and I'm a sucker for a great first step but this is a rare combination of attributes to overcome it).

This is why I'm all in on him and mad as hell already that someone will scoop him before we get the chance. Watching the Warriors and the havoc they present to any lineup by being able to defend 1-3, and 1-5 against small lineups, with no second guessing with damn near their whole roster is :banderas:I see more Klay-like potential in Frank than anything

EDIT: SWEAR TO GOD IF WE DRAFT LUKE KENNARD :damn:

I actually like Kennard, just not with the 8th pick. I wouldn't be mad if we scooped him with a later pick in the first round.

Kennard is definitely useful. I think a smart team would know how to maximize him. DX has him at 11, at that spot I'd much rather have somebody like Mitchell. If he was falling into the 20's I'd consider him, but I don't think he's a great fit for the Knicks. He's certainly better than taking Leaf, who I think is a bum.

I wish we had a high (or low? I never remember which way that's supposed to go) enough pick to dupe the Kings out of 5 and 10.

I wrote a bunch of post in here when we were in position for #4 about how important it was to be above the kings to do just that when they were scheduled to be around #8 and #10

Its ok though you just got to hope the knicks pick the right guy at #8
