I think it's kind of hard to learn to play off the ball like that, and Monk had to do it more so than he did in HS. I think he's definitely worth the risk if he's still there at 8.

Booker is 6'5.75" in shoes as an SG, we know Fox is 6'3.25" in shoes and Monk is actually slightly taller -

If you draft him as a PG that's not bad height for his position, he's essentially the same size as Curry and Jamal Murray. Taking him and developing him as a PG could be worth it if he pans out, guys that can shoot like him with his athleticism are pretty rare.

5 years ago I'd say no way but with how three point heavy the league is that makes him intriguing

If he and Dsj are available who do u take?

Like I been saying, I don't bet against kentucky players. If Monk is there at the 8, you have to take him. Yes he was a little inconsistent at Kentucky but the boy can score and he plays good defense. Just look at booker, no one thought he would be a top 3 player from that draft with kp and towns but the kid can hoop and I see Monk possibly being better than booker.

I would take monk over frank and dennis. Isaac is the only player I would take over monk that late in the draft if he drops.

But regardless, at our 8th pick. Whoever we get will be a project, do not expect them to come in and start dominating. It will take a few yrs. the knicks best bet would be to have a legit tank this yr as well and hope to land that number 1 pick for bamba or that european PG

I really think Waiters is who they want but just adding Lowry to it is still a scary team

Lowry
Waiters
Simmons
Jackson
Embiid

Okafor off the bench in a Greg Monroe role and Sarit

Or

Waiters
Monk
Simmons
Saric
Embiid

Okafor off the bench is a much more dangerous team too me. Simmons and Embiid surround by young shooters. That team works best. I don't think they go BPA the process is over.

This is the shyt the Knicks got to deal with going forward in the Atlantic division

I think we are all hoping for the best possible lottery outcome, though, right?

Didn't work out.

Teams that tanked, and got themselves in better position, got better picks than the Knicks, as expected. So we'll pick 8. Probably looking at Smith, Isaac, or Frank?

Good players. We'll have another young talent to pair with KP, while we figure out the rebuild.

Second round, depending on where we go in the first: Diallo, Lessort, Bryant, Mason, Bolden, Kaba, Swanigan, thornwell, gotta watch some film on Frank Jackson
