I get Emmanuel Mudiay/Dante Exum vibes from him y'all seem to love him what's up?

:scust:

A tall lanky, turnover prone guard with a loose handle, limited shooter, can defend due to physical tools and motor, good athlete in the open floor but limited in the half court.

I do like the wingspan I don't think there's a single PG with a 7 foot wingspan in the league.

I'm guessing it's the upside? Some Giannis type shyt.

Yeah it is the upside and he is the PG that fits the current system. He doesn't have to be ball dominant in the triangle so the turnovers don't bother me. And all indications point to him being a better shooter than Mudiay/Exum were at the same age. His physical limitations in terms of explosiveness actually fit in with the triangle seeing as how he won't be asked to create as much as he would in the typical pick and roll system.

I am not a big fan of the other PG's that will be available mainly because I am not a big fan of small PG's. If Frank is not available then I hope Isaac is still on the board.

The thing is the Triangle is not the future, we barely run that shyt as is and once Phil's contract is over that bullshyt going out the window.

I really don't want a sub-40% shooting, 4 turnover a game PG. I've seen these types already. :mjcry:

Isaac is too good of a fit for Minnesota to pass up on. I'd love the BX kid on the team though. His upside is arguably the best as a 6'10 combo forward with handles, fluidity, defensive potential, and shooting ability. Could have been drafted prep to pro.

Think of how garbage Devin Booker looked at Kentucky.

To play devils advocate Booker was on a loaded team at Kentucky that went 2 deep at every position so nobody really could stand out

This was one of Cals weaker teams and Monk for most of the season before Fox went off was the primary option and got to show what he can do moreso then Booker

I guess he'll have the workouts to show what he can do. If the Sixers pass on him who need shooting in the worst way then that probably means they think he's just a one dimensional scorer off the bench like a Ben Gordon

I think it's kind of hard to learn to play off the ball like that, and Monk had to do it more so than he did in HS. I think he's definitely worth the risk if he's still there at 8.

at the same time devin booker had the physical tools.
he's a big ass guard
monk is like a shorter jamal crawford...in his build :francis:

Booker is 6'5.75" in shoes as an SG, we know Fox is 6'3.25" in shoes and Monk is actually slightly taller -

If you draft him as a PG that's not bad height for his position, he's essentially the same size as Curry and Jamal Murray. Taking him and developing him as a PG could be worth it if he pans out, guys that can shoot like him with his athleticism are pretty rare.
