Some decent infor from Roland Lazenby biographer of MJ, Kobe, and Phil, about Fisher's coaching style vs Rambis's style.

Phil either needs to coach (which won't happen) or stay the hell out of the way and stop undermining coaches

But what system they run is not that big a deal to me. It's about talent in the NBA and we don't have much that's the biggest problem

Luka Doncic, Porter jr, Ayton or Bamba...... Any of those 4 would do wonders for us having NBA talent.

We're going to have to suck next year to improve our talent. 2018 is a very top heavy draft 4-6 man draft right now. Unlike this years draft that is probably 10 - 12 deep in actual talent.

And that's why he should of approached him differently lol it's like you think you gonna Shame melo out of NYC ??? The best bet to me is build up his value and be like melo is such a great teammate leader etc and deserves to win !! If NYC can't do it he deserves a winner etc . I'm a melo Stan I'll admit it but the way Phil handled it is like lower Melos trade value or make teams wary of him ?? And make him not want to waive his NTC ???

Yeah, I don't like the way he's gone about it.

But at this point, the relationship is so frayed, a make-up wouldn't work, so he's going nuclear.

Not the way I'd prefer it to go down... but here we are.

http://nypost.com/2017/04/20/carmelo-anthony-to-celtics-scenario-could-pick-up-steam/

With the Celtics fading in the first round, the chances of Carmelo Anthony wearing green are increasing.

According to an NBA source, the Celtics coaching staff was in favor of trading for Anthony at the trade deadline, but general manager Danny Ainge had too many reservations. One of Ainge’s concerns, according to a source, was an Anthony trade would have given Boston no real cap space to work with for the 2017 free-agent class.

With the top-seeded Celtics possibly on their way to getting swept by the eighth-seeded Bulls, Ainge’s thoughts on adding Anthony could change this July.

The Post has learned that in talks with the Celtics, their defensive small forward Jae Crowder would be a major player of interest for Knicks president Phil Jackson. In fact, Jackson lamented not trading for Crowder when he was on the table in the 2014 trade talks with the Mavericks for Tyson Chandler. Crowder is an active, gritty defender who can shoot from 3-point range.

Snippet but yeah...couldn't have timed that article better eh?

I hate the Celtics but theyre better off without Melo at this point. And we dont really need Crowder, hes a solid role player but were seeing how big the gap is between him and jimmy butler

Id say just get rid of Phil and let Melo play out his contract :ehh:

After all these bullshyt seasons you still want the same thing?

Let's bottom out so we can build up around a team philosophy like the Bucks did.

The idea is Crowder + a pick or package of lower tier picks. Crowder makes sense as a vet who works hard and plays the way Phil wants; he'd set a good example. The picks are the real prize though. And then you bottom out and grab Doncic to go with the super Euro kids Frank, KP and Willy. (Sayin' Frank here because he's the safest bet to still be available and our scouts like him plus it suits my nickname for the youth better than Isaac).

2017 NBA Mock Draft: Predictions for Prospects Who Will Sneak into 1st Round

Bleacher Report just released their mock and their Top 6 matches the one I made

:ehh:

I just disagree with them having us take Fox at #7 though I do think it will be between Fox and Frank for us. I hope they bring them in together and let em get a run against each other.

Also calling it now the Aussie Terrence Fergusion is going to be the out of lottery slept on Pick. He looks good now but due to Exum everyone is worried the level of comp in Australia is so low anyone could look good over there.

He's legit, he's an All American.

I feel Ainge is gonna either go all in on PG, or try to offer everything to Utah to convince them to do a sign and trade and send Hayward to Boston.

Add to that Rondo is out and the Celtics might sneak into the second round too

I could picture Ainge going with Jackson or Tatum to fill that void depending on where they land as another route but the fact that coaches wanted Melo in February is promising at least. Gives me some hope.
