Gaines found the international talent from what it seems, dafuq has Phil done besides being on our champ team to keep getting good will at this point?

He gets goodwill because stuff like this will partially keep the bullets from being fired at Dolan, aside from people saying he needs to step in.

That depressed me. I see no future for this team. Now KP is pissed and not wanting to talk to the front office. Phil essentially acting like a tyrant and saying he's gonna be even more meddlesome... Jeez.

I don't agree with this.

I am not a Phil apologist cause it's clear he showed his ass to the world today.

But what has he done that was worse than Thomas, Layden, Walsh, or Grunwald?

Like is he pulling GM moves like the Logo? No. He's barely passing on the FA level and sucks at trading (The Melo trade will determine his legacy there cause it's likely going to be complicated). However he is doing the rebuild we as an organization have needed since the 90's.

The Knicks weren't going to be able to compete with teams like Toronto and Boston now unless they gave up picks and never had a chance to get to the level of the Warriors or Cavs. Before he got there they were about to trade the 2019 pick next year for Lowry and that team would of been just good enough to draft a Kaminsky instead of a future star in KP. That's how backed up pick wise we were. A treadmill team to stupid to realize it's getting no where.

KP is mad we're going to trade his hero and likely require him to pick up the offensive load. fukk that, it was going to happen sooner or later and he needs to learn how to be the man on a team in the regular seasonnow if he'll ever be ready for a playoff series in a few years.
