Patience paid dividends for Dolan with Glen Sather and the Rangers. I'm not surprised Dolan is letting Phil have time, we're actually not in a bad position if he makes some smart decisions...cap space, picks and tradeable vets with a franchise centerpiece and a couple of intriguing young running mates is a nice starting point for an offseason if he goes rebuilding.

If he can get rid of Melo and nail the draft pick we're in decent shape

If he loses his mind like he did last summer and tries for a quick fix by getting washed up veterans were fukked

He is basically 2 for 2 with draft picks, KP and Willy are future cornerstones. I trust he will draft the right person.

That's been his one positive.and he needs to nail these draft picks because it's out only way to get better and get out of this hole one day.

I just hope he thinks long term and doesn't go all in next year keeping Melo and giving the max to Jrue or some shyt like that

No doubt, his eye for talent is pretty good. His way of handling the media is shytty and unprofessional as hell. If he can nail this draft with great talents, we'll be in good shape.

Phil has done a bad job so far( That Noah signing is one of the worst moves made in the past few years:why:), but the situation he has created is still salvageable and he keeps Dolan at bay, so if Phil can pull of some slick shyt this summer I'll be fine with him sticking around for two more years:manny:

I'm still confused why everyone wants Lee gone?

Good veteran player, he's on a cheap contract 4/40 mil.

Decent defender, good 3pt shooter.

I don't wanna flip him for a late first rounder and definitely not a 2nd rounder. If we can get a top 20 pick, then yes go ahead
there's really no place for a 32 year old (when the season starts he'll be 32) 3 and D player...with the direction this team should be going. completely rebuilding.
he needs to be on a playoff team...a team that could get the most out of his talent.

it is what it is Lads. I have faith for some weird reason. Hoping the Basketball Gods appreciate effort.
All we can do is hope, Breh.

Luck is such a big part of this. I mean, the Cubs fans eventually got peace...Ours is coming, right?

Right?:feedme:

Yea, I dislike Phil. I think he's a fukkboy for how disrespectful and unprofessional he's been.

However, some time of stability might help us in the long run.

I shiver at imagining the damage Phil could do if he isn't given the extension and goes full "NBA2K GM" mode on some what do I have to lose shyt.:picard:

I'm truly hoping that wherever we draft, we draft well.

As @storyteller said, just do the right things moving forward with the resources we have.:sadcam:

Let him come off the bench, he's not hurting us in salary or taking away shots and minutes from younger players.
