:yeshrug: I'm not even angry, I expect shyt like this to happen. We can't tank, we can't gel, we can't win when it counts, we win when it doesn't benefit us. Hire GM's to only have Dolan still control and when it's a GM that has somewhat more control, his moves are for shyt with a system that doesn't fit the team. I still rock with Melo and was for Phil coming in with his championship pedigree but......you know what fuk it, I've been done with this season :drops mic:

For the 2003 NBA Draft we had the 9th pick. We picked Michael Sweetney. Before our picks: LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Dwane Wade, and Chris Bosh were taken. We were a BAD team that 2002-2003 season (that was identical to today), but not bad enough to get one of those players.

We had the 8th pick in the 2005 draft: Andrew Bogut, Deron Williams, and Chris Paul were already gone by the time we picked.

James Dolan made sure our 2006 pick got away from us in order to "win now", which led to LaMarcus Aldridge not becoming a Knick (that was our pick........brought to you by James Dolan).

It would have been nice to get Kevin Durant in the 2007 draft, but Dolan made sure we didn't get our first pick, and we weren't bad enough (but weren't near good) to get Durant.

The 2008 NBA draft saw the GOOD: Derrick Rose go #1, Russell Westbrook go #4, and Kevin Love go #5. The Knicks had the 6th pick that draft.

The 2009 NBA Draft saw Blake Griffin go #1, James Harden go #3, AND Steph Curry go #7. The Knicks had the #8 pick in that draft.

We needed to tank better and earlier for a chance at the #3 sure things, and around #7 is when you start really running into players with issues or in need of longer development cycles. It wouldn't shock me that this repeats again. Also next draft looks like it isn't even that talented outside of the very tops. How much do you bet we struggle to be be a mid lottery team...... again
