Phil made that decision. Not letting him off the hook. No one forced him to resign MELO.

I want MELO off the Knicks as bad as the other side. Believe me.

Bro everything (save drafting) that the Knicks have done since the Melo Trade has been to appease Melo. The CAA era was real and since then the Knicks have been trying to force their way to a playoff spot. I mean a better team could of built around Melo maybe if they hadn't used so many assets to get him here to begin with.

Phil has been bad at trades, and FA. I won't blame Melo for that. Phil isn't innocent, but Melo isn't innocent because he created the Hole Phil came to manage.

KP needs to watch film of Gobert and learn the intricacies of big man defense and rebounding. Gilbert is one of the most impactful players just on length and basketball I.q his arguable the best big in the game.

Gobert was foul prone at the same age and came off the bench because he was too skinny to bang in the paint full time. What Porzingis needs to do is work on his body like Gobert did, it took 2-3 years for Gobert to get to where he's at today (physically).

Yeah I understand that. He will improve his body slowly and surely. Porzingis regressed in rebounding and defense this year and I hope he improves his one and one defense, and pick and roll/switches,defensive rebounding/boxing out.
His rim protection has been great the last two years but I hope he can become an anchor like Gobert and Draymond. Even Durant has became a amazing defender these past couple of years. Porzingis has the length and quickness to become one.

Yo, are y'all really feeling Josh Jackson like that? I like his I.Q. and athletic ability (he's no Iggy who he gets compared to). But, I don't know I'm not confident in his shooting ability at all, he shot 56% from the FT line which is horrific as a wing and he has a huge dip on his shot. I just don't see how he is an effective shooter at the NBA-level with this form on catch-and-shoots and off the dribble.

:scust:

Also, at 6'8 with a 6'9 3/4 wingspan he isn't really all that special in that department, he had some off the court issues (property damage case, kicked a girl's car in), and on the court he racked up many technical fouls last year. Also, already 20 years old as a freshman. While, I saw some good court vision from him and he's definitely unselfish for a Point Forward his handle didn't look all that impressive although I think he played a lot of 4.

I see NBADraft.net has him going #1 now, a lot of people is super high on him and think he can be better than Andrew Wiggins. :patrice:

I'm bugging? @Malta @tremonthustler1

Lately, I been feeling Jonathan Isaac. He's on the skinny side at 6'10 210 lb. but his potential is crazy, some of y'all told me he was a project because of his weight but we saw KP be a contributor in his rookie year. I like him because of his physical attributes once he fills out him and KP could be scary with the length, fluidity, and athletic ability at both those forward spots (Isaac | 7'1 1/4th wingspan, KP | 7'6 wingspan).

He's one of those guys who had a late growth spurt so he played a lot of guard in HS, so he has good ball handling ability and a great hesitation dribble, he can score inside and out, and has a lot of potential as a defender. I can't sleep on a 6'10 combo forward who can score inside and out if we can't get any of the projected top 3, I'm going with Isaac.

Son is from the Bronx too :sas2:

I'm sorta down on JJ.
His shot needs major retuning and I don't think he will be as good of a defender as people think. He struggles guarding quick players and Miles Bridges was able to blow by him. His ft% is a major red flag at his age. His physical attributes aren't insane like a Durant,Wiggins,Iggy either.
I'm liking Isaac and Tatum better.

Ideally, though the guy I want is Lonzo Ball. I want LaVar Ball sitting next to Spike Lee in all Big Baller Brand gear at MSG next year. :damn:

This kid has everything we need in a PG. Finally, a PG who can push the tempo with great court vision who can actually be a playmaker on defense. Like I've said he's a hybrid of Jason Kidd (court vision+playmaking, anticipation on defense, speed) and Penny Hardaway (leaping ability, height, long arms, finishing ability). Backcourt 2000 in one man. Yeah, his jumper is funky but that step back is deadly, he has a quick release and lots of range. The main issue will be his shooting from certain spots on the floor. This kid WILL get KP the ball, and he'll reward any shooter, cutter, and anyone willing to run the break with him. Kid is extremely poised and confident and the exact opposite of his pops, he lets his game do the talking and is no non sense in interviews which will help him deal with the NY media.

Let's get it man...
