It's all good, he will be in the clippers season thread soon enough
he gave 15 years and didnt win.
stay sleep cause he said himself he regretted requesting that deal
conveniently enough you leave out that quote from the article
you nikkas more sensitive than the 100+ millionaires that get to play a sport for a living
theres about roughly 200 million reasons why KP will put his head down cause of scrutiny if he reaches his potential
He's a second year player hard to tell atm. If melo and rose leave we'll see how he progresses its not going to be easy considering the talent. Willy should start alongside him. He's going to need a good guard that can score and run the offense.Ya'll crowning KP too quick. Who's to say he's not better suited as a #2 option.
there's ways to be objective.Ain't nobody being sensitive, yall the ones getting all up in arms because I "bad mouthed" KP & because I'm against the idea of tanking.
At the end of the day, Melo nor the Knicks are paying me, and KP nor the Knicks are paying you cats. None of us are gms or work in the front of office of the team, everything stated in these threads are just fan's opinions on how sh*t should be done. Ya'll said what ya'll said about KP/Melo/Knicks, and I've said what I said. We agree to disagree & keep it pushing. But YA'LL the ones constantly tagging me & quoting me in here. Like I said before, if you don't like my opinions on the Knicks, put me on ignore
You need a bench as well. Hornececk should have played the younger guys more. Can't expect someone to get better without a chance.there's ways to be objective.
its less about you badmouthing KP ....because anyone with eyes can see he has flaws
its more about absolving melo and viewing everything in a vacuum
i get it...you want to have meaningful games in april...not to purposely lose games....but part of the reason we're in this predicament of being a bad team...is the play of the two people i've never seen you utter a single word about...rose and melo
i guess you dont want to pile on them cause you like them as people?
we have more talent than last year...why is our record worse?
i've seen you say...we aint gon be shyt til we play defense. who are the two worst defenders among their respective positions in the nba?
i aint arguing to argue with you my nikka...im just trying to get you to open your perspective without it seeming like its personal at you
i wish we couldve won with melo...but its time to move on...and start over....
this half ass try at being competitive aint working...and hasnt worked consistently in 17 years

i said...but part. i clearly said "PART" and I clearly said kristaps is flawed....but you cant compare a 2nd year player to an 8 year vet and a 13 year vet.And here we go again, just blaming them. Yeah Melo has quetionable shot selection, and Rose has a tendency to just drive & not kick it out, but I can't count how many times I've seen KP struggle to post smaller players or leave his man (usually a stretch 4) wide open. Ya'll coddle KP to much.
The whole team's defense is a reason where they are. And putting f*cking Kurt Rambis as defensive coordinator.
That's why getting into this draft is important, because if KP is a number 2, pairing him with a Josh Jackson / Fultz / Ball makes sense for the future.
You don't put all your eggs in one basket, but you'd rather they continue to build around Melo who has proven time and time again that he is not a number 1 either.
if we get it together...stay with them miami nikkasI think you guys hit on this pick, and the Knicks will be a squad 3-4 years from now.
I'm amazed by how many people, even after watching our team get trounced and lapped by better organizations, still don't understand how to build a roster or a successful team.
When somebody says "KP is the future" - they don't mean he's white latvian LeBron. What they mean is, he represents the future, and is our best player over the next 3-5 years.
You don't go into the draft, with THIS roster, saying "who can we put in as a no.2 for KP" -- It's: How can get the best player possible in this draft, so Porzingis has somebody else to play with.
If there was a garnett or a duncan in this draft, we wouldn't opt for a guard, simply because "We already got KP and he's the star" -- That isn't how it works at this stage.
I hope whoever we draft is BETTER than porzingis. I hope THEY turn into LeBron/Steph/Wade/Jordan/Dream all rolled into one.
Everyone takes this shyt so personal, like if they're favored player didn't work out, well then I hope YOUR favored fails too. I can't wait for it.
Wanting to get a great draft pick is not a referendum on Melo. Just like it isn't a referendum on KP, or Phil, or Hornacek, or Wily, or Clyde, or Patrick. It's just wanting to have the best chance to add talent to the team.
And while you COULD draft a better player at 14 than you do at 4, the point is at 4 you had the shot at the guy taken at 14, plus 11 other potential young players.
Day to day, I don't ENJOY tanking. I don't enjoy rooting for a busted up roster of washed vets, also rans, and bums with a gentle dusting of talented players who can't get the job done alone. It stinks watching a game right now, because they stink, and there isn't anything to root for. And that is why we come on here or on twitter or wherever, and root for the tank. Because we recognize that losing is the best way for this team to get back on track, and right now winning ONLY hurts them.
That's why we're studying draft picks, and looking through the second round -- because that is where this team's future is going to be. Players who are NOT CURRENTLY ON this roster. Because the ones on it, aren't good enough. If this team gets better, that help is coming from the outside. The draft and free agency and trades.
And yeah, phil and dolan are probably gonna fukk it up.
Eventually, we'll be rooting for a new GM, too.
That's what you do when your team is shyt, you hope help is on the way.
Are some of you mad that other fans have come to grip with that? Or are you upset you were sold a fake bill of goods this summer, and you bought that shyt hook-line-and-sinker -
Again.
To my point, here's a 2nd round wing who I kinda like. Jonah Bolden was at UCLA and went abroad as a pro.
if we get it together...stay with them miami nikkas
might have to ban you from the bx

You have to understand something about NY basketball fans. Not ALL, but MANY are impatient, irrational and get very emotional about the idea of a rebuilding process. I have said it many times before, but this is what got
