Melo has been a total pro. I have nothing but respect for him, and wish this team could have won with him as the star.

Most people don't have any issue with melo. We just understand him leaving New York is best for all involved, he has no chance of winning anything here and the Knicks have no chance of moving on with him still on the team.

You're the one out here hoping a young player with potential to really do something on this team fails like he's offended you personally.

im not quite sure you get how things work in new york. EVERY SINGLE TALENTED PLAYER IN THIS CITY IS SCRUTINIZED.

talking about some heel turn on kristaps...you mean the dude that got boo'd before he could even say a word in his new york knicks draft cap...the dude that was called a project and has still busted his ass to improve...the dude that has gained 20+ pounds of muscle since he got drafted? the dude that forewent the olympics to work on himself for this franchise? That's why getting into this draft is important, because if KP is a number 2, pairing him with a Josh Jackson / Fultz / Ball makes sense for the future.

You don't put all your eggs in one basket, but you'd rather they continue to build around Melo who has proven time and time again that he is not a number 1 either.

We don't know though, we already know what melo is. We already know that this isn't working and due to his age he doesn't have time for a rebuild.

Don't just write KP off when none of us really know what he's going to be, there's nothing wrong with hoping for the best.

The acrimony between Ewing and the Knicks reportedly began earlier this summer when the club refused to grant him a two-year contract extension. Layden said last month that the two parties had never discussed an extension and that Ewing and the Knicks would work together to find a trade that benefited both the player and the organization.

The gulf between Ewing and the news media and fans was never more apparent than last month, when it was first announced that he would be traded to Seattle in the foiled four-team, 13-player deal. After he was criticized heavily by the media and fans, it seemed nearly impossible for Ewing to return for this season.
