I want to see what Phil does this off-season. He's been trying to walk the line of building around KPa little while keeping Melo happy...... that's over and it's clear he is planning to go all in on KP and his Tryangle.

Like he needs to build a core for whatever the plan is now and it's going to require him to be active on the Draft, FA, and potentially trade market. So far I say he's done a passable job just because he hasn't fukked us over in the future to squeeze into the playoffs...... now I want to see him build some of the foundational stuff he was talking about when he got here.

Just this season, you think he's trying to miss his finals (All-star game) next year? :mjlol:

I think Melo bounces, I just don't think he wanted to uproot his family in the middle of the year on some short notice stuff. If you saw how focused Phil and Mills looked st that Clipper game they had to be scouting for what they want in that Melo trade.

Melos not going anywhere. He wants to hit his career scoring number goal and he can't do that as a 2nd or 3rd option somewhere else.

Melos never mentioned winning titles being the most important thing to him. He's mentioned the career points scored though and his "brand"

Once he talked about his reduced role and being benched I think he is gone mentally and probably not coming back. This is his 4th Year missing the playoffs and the Knicks aren't making moves to go there next year.

He's gonna let himself be traded.

Jeff Hornacek is the realest coach I've seen in a minute. It'd be refreshing if he wasn't keeping it real while doing ish that I disagree with. Dude essentially said "Mathematically we're out but, but I think we all knew we were out before this," then wtf were Melo, Rose and Lee doing out there over thirty minutes against Detroit!? Ask him about benching the vets "It wouldn't be fair to the rookies to start them all. I'm gonna continue to play these discouraged ass looking vets and maybe give one rookie a shot a night for these next 7 meaningless games."

I appreciated the fact that he said, straight up, it would be unfair to play all the young guys at once. But that he was going to mix them in, and play fewer vets together, to see what they're working with.

The reduced role was just about the end of this year

And as far as not making moves to get to the playoffs next year im not so sure

Would it shock you if Phil tried another dumb win now move by overpaying another veteran?

I don't get that vibe at all. From the "we're going all in on the triangle" to the "defense first". I think they are just trying to make the team function properly and are not even focused on the playoffs.

Someone watch @Mr. Jack Napier closely the next couple of months, it's going to be a rough time to be a Melo stan. Better get your Melo Knicks Jersey here soon.

The NBA store closes at 8PM

Another n*gga on my dikk. Continue having fun supporting arrogant prick who calls a millionaire athlete & his business partners a posse.

I don't think so at all.

It would be hard to be a Melo stan if Melo was on some a$$hole shyt in his interviews because it would go against one of the reasons brehs fukk with dude.

But he remained professional throughout the bullshyt - From George Karl to Phil himself.

Melo accepting the inevitable would hopefully mean Melo waiving the clause to go elsewhere and less crucifying and the Knicks moving forward with their plans.

:ehh:

The brehs who might be on suicide watch are those who can't help but be compelled to shyt on the guy even though it's a dead horse at this point.

They'd better get their last insults about the man who wears that Jersey in soon.
