Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I think if we somehow get the first pick, it'll be Ball. Phil loves big guards, so while he may still feel he doesn't need a traditional PG for the triangle, he still probably wouldn't pass up a 6-7 PG with court vision. After the first pick though, all bets are off. I could see a scenario where he passes on Fultz or Fox to try and nab Jackson, which I wouldn't be too mad at. The thing is, PG is such a pressing need I'd rather get one in the draft as opposed to overpaying for one in free agency.

Fultz is going 1 breh, he's considered the most offensively complete guard since Kyrie and I just can't see the Knicks passing on him even with how much Jackson likes bigger players, he is 6'4" as well.

I think with workouts and these guys analyzed front to back come draft time Fultz Jackson or Ball and maybe even Tatum are gonna be talked about as possible first picks and it's gonna be more about fit

I don't see this as Fultz being so ahead of the other guys that it's not a debate

I tried to watch more of Fultz this season, especially after it became apparent that we need a PG moving forward. The only chance I really had was a game against Arizona, and I think he was hurt. I had heard the noise but since Washington wasn't getting national TV burn it's hard to watch them.

How would you compare him and Ball as far as better fit with what the team needs?

I don't know breh, Fultz has a lot less weaknesses compared to everyone else, whoever gets the number 1 will most likely take him. There's a lack of wings sure, but Fultz has the 6'10" wingspan, jumper and explosiveness that usually wows people in the combine, his wingspan is basically the same as Jackson & Tatum while +2" on Ball's wingspan. That's elite length at the PG spot, with a skillset & explosiveness.

Ball is a good player, but he's got some weaknesses that wont show up until he gets to the league.

He's going to be good because he can play off the ball well, but when he plays on the ball NBA teams are going to shade his left hand and force him to use his right knowing he has trouble pulling up because of his weird form. I think he'd do well in the triangle just because he wouldn't need to create as often with a live dribble, but he also won't be an impact scorer and definitely not a go to guy unless he fixes his mechanics. This isn't like a player with a dominant hand that can only go 1 direction, this is a dude that has a fundamental flaw in his mechanics that forces him to use his off hand to get the shot off. Like Manu wasn't great going to his right, but he could pull up going that way or with his left, Lonzo doesn't pull up going to his right, ever.

Yeah, I have some real questions about Lonzo being THE GUY on a team, but fewer if he's your 3rd best player. That cross body jumper is such a fundamental mechanical flaw, and it would take YEARS to clean it up, and make a new form start to feel natural. Fultz seems to be the most bulletproof prospect, now that his jumper has shown consistency. I've loved Isaac, but now I'm a little worried that he's gonna have to play stretch 4 or even 5 -- which is a cool thing for some teams, but would put him, essentially, in the same slot as KP. I like the idea of playing them together, but I don't know if our current front office/coach are creative enough, or allowed to be creative enough to do that.

I still really like Frank. I like Monk and Fox, too - but just have real questions about how great they can be with their (fatal?) flaws.

Miles Bridges made Tatum look like a child.

If Josh Jackson had clean form and consistency on his shot he would be the number one pick easy.
His has the dog mentality like westbrook, draymond, kobe
He can slash,post up,pass,defend,draw fouls

Missed you damn knuckleheads.

Finally caught up on all the chatter.

It sucks but I don't think catching the bottom 3 isn't feasible anymore. I don't see the suns moving from that 3rd slot.

Good thing is, we definitely got a harder schedule than the magic and sixers and we play the sixers at the last game of the season. But knowing the dumba$$ knicks, we'll hit a game winner and the team and the garden will celebrate like we won a chip. Also sucks that we won the season series against magic so that could hurt us as well.

So it looks like we should finish in the 4-6 slot. Best case scenario we land the 4th spot, obviously best scenario is top 3 but
I can live with the 4th pick. Its the 6th or 7th pick that scares because we're definitely not gonna select an NBA ready player, he will most likely have to be another prospect like fox or tatum or even monk.

But if we land any combo of Ball, Fultz or Jackson, that can be a franchise saver
