A lot of conversation about OTP going on.:russ: but to be fair, the opinions about the food scene and gay dudes are semi accurate. There's a lot of food spots outside the perimeter that are worth mentioning than inside. You really don't see very flamboyant folks unless you go out of your way.

I never get people who complain about when things shut down. Outside of LA, Vegas, NY, and Miami, most every other region’s legit night life closes between 2-3am. Don’t know why nikkas act like you need to be at a club to 4/5 to have had A good night out :what:

If you moving right, you’re able to link up with some women/men, do some post club dining or hit an after hours spot at like 1 or 2 or you should be bagging someone who is dtf and dipping with them by 1/2am. Being at the actual bar/club past 2am is some immature shyt, real talk. I don’t know anyone outside of people who just started partying (20-25 year olds) who see late shut down times as necessary

I personally love late shut down times because that means that the immature, dusty folks will show up later. I am the type to show up at 11, and leave at 1am

You gotta be a special kind of bamma to travel to a new city on vacation and go to the mall lol. I can see if you are in another country or its an outdoor mall/mixed used development but not an indoor joint from the 70s. Lenox dont even have good eateries there
or they going to cop some cloths lol. I try not to travel with cloths when I go somewhere. Copping some shyt in that city is easier

I guess but I would argue the a large number of the folks buying clothes are usually bammas vs someone who packs light and needs clothes.

I can see if it was the late 90s where ecommerce was in its infancy, and many didnt have access to high speed internet. but in this day and age you can get 80% of stuff online. I think even most boutique stores do ecommerce where the likely hood of finding current items online is pretty high and Lenox doesnt have any hypebeast shops like a Supreme or something.

ATL, but rasied in DMV
According to this thread, Atlanta has all the fine honeys. But at the same time I'm hearing this thread say:

1. The North side has flat booty cacattes, and not a good place to find a sister.
2, The South side is full of ratchets.
3. Only one person here lived on the South side, where most of the Blacks are.
4. Most of the fine women want ballers and rappers, and it's expensive for a brother to be a player.

Folks on this thread saying Atlanta is all that as far as the honeys, doesn't sound like honest advice for a brother trying to move to a part of Atlanta where it's mostly Black, and the sisters aren't ratchet. When it comes to the gays, Blacks gays in particular, these opinions mean nothing if you don't even live on the South side where the highest percentage of Blacks are, where every other cashier seems to be gay and growing. Black gay men don't call this the gay capital for nothing. So how is the gay population going top be overrated.

I don't like seeing a thread misleading straight brothers about this gay population in Atlanta. If you're just the average brother moving down here, then don't take what people said in this thread for gospel, including this exaggerated thing about gays. That's because it's not exaggerated. Atlanta has way to many gays. What irritates me the most about them is, they seem to like coming out the closet in front of mostly brothers, but tend to stay in the closet in front of that White man for the most part if they don't know him, no matter how handsome they think he is. That's because policies have been put in place to make them feel more powerful than straight Black men. I'm talking about Black and White gay men. When I say come out the closet, I don't mean approach us. I mean some of these gay cashiers will throw that feminine act in your face in ways I've never seen them do in front of White men. They just hired a White gay man at this business not too far from me. The overly feminine acting is one thing, but this trying to chat up an extra long conversation with me, while talking like that, ain't gonna cut it. The messed up thing is, the world, especially the White world, expects only straight Black men for the most part to tolerate out the closet gay men.

Anyway, it's best to get your opinion from someone who lived on the South side and North side, and the city, if you want a more honest opinion.
