Broke Wave
The GOAT
Fine. I am just going on what I've seen and experienced after 28 years of living in NYC and growing up with African Americans. These are not "memes and stereotypes", these are 28 years of first hand observations. But if you want to discount that, whatever. I never said that was the case for ALL AAs, but some of the things I mentioned are definitely issues for many, based on my observations.
So I ask again, what are some of the things you think African Americans need to do to consolidate their power and build wealth in this country? Should that be a priority?
Typical racist qualification. "I went to a school full of blacks, believe me first hand, they're ******s." How is that any different?
To answer your benign question, what African Americans should do to consolidate wealth and power in America cannot be answered in a few short words, but it starts with political organization. Blacks should elect blacks who will serve their interests. They should only support those who's interests are 100% aligned with theirs. There are 40 million African Americans, that is more than enough to be a significant decider. That is one of the many things that should be done.
In addition to this, African Americans should form co-operatives with the few businesses they have, and use that to help consolidate whatever little power they have into a greater power.
