I can't wait until they really start gentrifying the Chi
5-10 years from now when you can't afford to live in the neighborhood you were born and raised in you will regret saying this.I can't wait until they really start gentrifying the Chi
as effed up as that sounds thats the truth. I am a hard working black man who really aint for the dumb shyt...shiftless nigruhs on the corner with their whole asses out trying to holla at bishes, loitering and general ghetto fukkery. Now when I was younger and wasnt part of the working world I didnt give a shyt about this..but as your priorities change so does your taste in quality of life
I would rather these areas in harlem and BK have progressive blacks who arent about the dumb shyt, invest in the neighborhoods and make things better for the young people coming up
but sadly, we cant handle the job so whitey swooped in and told niggruhs

Where is this?SO, I just went to the store next to my apartment to grab a bag of chips...and right next to the store there is a huge crowd of milquetoast white bread ass hipsters at an impromptu art gallery show housed inside a former 99 cent hardware store.
Hipsters are truly ruining New York City one day at a time.

Where is this?
Lmao @ the cops coming for them though.Wilson and Harman.
I was shocked...the cops have already come.
I'm good homie. Hipsters and coffee shops, safety>>>>>"culture", food and liquor stores, and empty lots5-10 years from now when you can't afford to live in the neighborhood you were born and raised in you will regret saying this.
I don't know why or how this happened...but you're a HELL of a great poster.Me too man, me too.
TBCH, some of these new black folks coming into New York dissappoint the hell out of me. THey're like the black version of the emaciated ambigous effeminate white hipsters that have moved here. Either that or they're the fake "pro-black" black women that use their blackness as an accessory and date white guys out of spite for black men that have supposedly mistreated them over the years. I can't count on them I feel like. They aren't even investing in the community and just see it as a trend at it's most superficial base like every other transplant.
Where are the black men that are educated, work out, play basketball, do normal things and have normal non-look at me jobs?
It seems like all of the responsible educated and strong black men have moved out of the city completely.
Take race out of the equation for a second now...where are all the non-attention seeking, skilled, certified, educated, and normal people that move to NYC? It seems like all of the responsible educated and strong black men have moved out of the city completely.
I'm sick and tired of meeting all of these fake models, fake fashion designers, fake artists, piss poor musicians, DJs, and creatives. WE don't need creatives in this country really or this city anymore...where are all the doctors? Engineers? Techs? Why are all of these young people that move here just ambitionless attention whores that really overvalue themselves?
Word.I'm good homie. Hipsters and coffee shops, safety>>>>>"culture", food and liquor stores, and empty lots
When I come back to NYC, I promise to get a real job. But good you know it's not just white folks. "New Blacks" I think they are called.Me too man, me too.
