To update I finally saw something that had me shook for the first time since I was kid. I was doing my astral thing and I was floating up when I was pulled down and felt like my dog was biting me and get my attention which made no sense because he doesn’t do that shyt. So I look down and there is the craziest wierd animal with a pitch black human face. It said something to me but I was so thrown off I didn’t hear it.
I woke up, had a beer to calm down and went back to sleep.

The next morning my wife said she woke up and she felt like someone burned her hand. She actually had a burn mark on her finger . When I woke up I had a big ass bruise, scrape thing on my stomache. It was odd

I don’t work tomorrow so tonight imma see if I can find it again

I had a strong desire about five years ago to learn how to project consciously. I remember doing it as a kid, though spontaneously. In the end, I left it alone because I couldn't find a grounded reason to pursue it past my own curiosity. As I study and learn, perhaps I'll revisit it though.

What have you been able to see in your travels as of late? You could use it as practice for making your transition easier, whenever that time comes, and building on the astral plane, learning how to work within its laws. When we die, I think it's where the majority of us automatically end up, unless we learn how to get to a level even higher (the mental plane), and that takes practice while we're still alive.

Have you been to the hall of Akashic records? I think it would be something everyone experiences differently, but it would essentially be a humongous library of sorts.

In studying this stuff, I've started to think the earth's and humanity's true history are likely documented there and, thus, it is possible for us to know, from a more honest and objective perspective, things which have happened on this planet, apart from what we are taught in history books.

Have you been able to see anyone you know IRL while on the astral plane (i.e. friends, coworkers, etc.)?

I've read about it ("Journeys out of the body", by Robert Monroe).

I have also experienced sleep paralysis. Scariest one was when I was on my back, and I looked towards my door out the corner of my eye and saw what looked like a small shadow figure like a midget demon

I think people that have these abilities seem to have a few things in common. For example my ex had a heart condition (had surgery as a child), and she told me she could see dead people every once and a while. She also told me her mom or aunt gave her one of the spiritual baths don't remember if it made it better or worse.

As far as Astral projection it seems like people who eat better like no processed foods, or are vegan can do it when they change their diets (at least that is what is claimed by some of these people I watch on YouTube.

Ryan Cooper is a guy that has a channel where he talks about this stuff if anyone is interested.

I just need to get past the sleep paralysis part to get to the next step. This actually happened to me yesterday, I freaked out and started cursing in my heard and eventually got feeling in my legs back. That is how I usually get out of it.

Any advice to get to the next level? I read about the rope pulling methods.

I think I've commented in this thread somewhere but again, the toughest part is getting past the intense vibration/buzzing noise that you hear when transitioning from conscious to subconscious world.

I usually have these experiences when I'm exhausted as fukk. I mean hella exhausted. It's like your body tries to sprint to sleep but your mind cant catch up.

Always laying on my back or side.

Always hear the little creepy voices

Always hear that intense buzzing/vibration sound when it's about to go down

I've had sleep paralysis on many occasions. Many times, as it's happening, I will see a shadow figure typically in the corner of my room. His silhouette looks like he has a trench coat on and a fedora. When I see him (and have seen him in many different places I have lived) I immediately know that he has bad intentions, and I know I have to be ready to fight him. He never approaches, just stares from the corner in the shadows. I'll usually "wake up" shortly after.

When I was really practicing astral projection 3 years ago, I was able to clear the fear hurdle of the paralysis and just "let myself go". My entire body began vibrating, and it sounded like hummingbird wings flapping extremely fast right in my ears. I knew that the next step was to float out of my body, but as soon as it started to happen I tensed up and snapped out of the state I was in.

I am going to get back into it. I've recently gone on a sober path which will make it much easier to achieve. Doesn't work if you're in a drunken coma lol.

Yup, I don’t mess with that astral shyt anymore. I made a post about it in another thread but that shyt is too risky for me to do again. You don’t know what kind of spirits can infiltrate your physical body whilst you’re absent.
