Couple of dummies. He failed his dental entrance exam several times. There aint no guarantee he’s going to complete dental school and pass his boards. Dentist make bread but not 700,000 worth of student loan bread. That’s excessive for even surgeons.

A degree is a piece of paper at the end of the day. It isn’t a promise of success. Common sense is severely lacking with these two. They have two young kids to boot:snoop:

It seems like both of them earlier in their lives lacked that little "extra" drive to accomplish their goals.

It's like a download that reaches 98%, but that little 2% takes forever or is just stuck there and never finishes.

Where’s the link to this article?
Is that them in the picture?

This!. I hate when people post articles without the source.

They need to stop trying to pursue their failed dreams and focus on the right now. They need money not fulfillment. It's sad seeing people shoot themselves in the foot being stubborn and stupid. After they get their debt down, then focus on the other stuff.

Y’all keep clowing girl because of her degree, but I’m sure she was told the same lie many blacks are told about getting a degree and making it in life.

And before y’all say, “what she gonna do with an English degree?”

She said she had a plan to use it for a publishing company.

She might not be making big bucks, but to me it sounds like she knew what she wanted to do with her degree, but she just wasn’t lucky to get anything with it.

Even ten years ago the publishing industry was on a clear decline because of the Internet. Many magazines were already struggling and have since gone out of business. Same story with a lot of newspapers. It's trivial to recycle online news as well. You'll see exactly the same article on news sites from all over the world, so less demand for journalists.

Study to get into a declining industry with less and less opportunities every year brehettes.

That's why she's getting clowned.

She could have gotten into journalism or whatever the hell it was she wanted to do. The problem is she didn't start at the goal and work backwards from there. I'm pretty sure I told you the same thing several months ago. Figure out what you want to do, then figure out what leads into that, then what leads into that, and so on until you get to your current situation.

People don't get the scholarships because they don't apply for them. People go for FAFSA and call it a day. Talmbout I didn't get any grants so I just took out loans. The majority of scholarships just want a 500 word essay. Put the time in, write a good one, you can keep reusing that work for the next scholarship. We had kids walking out of high school with enough scholarships it was if they had a full ride. Even having 50% paid for is better than nothing :comeon:.

Yeah you did bruh, you got good ass memory.

:umad: fukk that college shyt breh. I went when I was 20 and dropped out owing 8k, went into default for not making payments. I paid it off last year and am making 26/hr and moving up. A lot of my old friends who went to college struggle to find work, I feel for them but that college life is a scam with the debt that's involved
what do u do for a living?
