She could have gotten into journalism or whatever the hell it was she wanted to do. The problem is she didn't start at the goal and work backwards from there. I'm pretty sure I told you the same thing several months ago. Figure out what you want to do, then figure out what leads into that, then what leads into that, and so on until you get to your current situation.
People don't get the scholarships because they don't apply for them. People go for FAFSA and call it a day. Talmbout I didn't get any grants so I just took out loans. The majority of scholarships just want a 500 word essay. Put the time in, write a good one, you can keep reusing that work for the next scholarship. We had kids walking out of high school with enough scholarships it was if they had a full ride. Even having 50% paid for is better than nothing
