I've only seen it once live but basically it's a historical story except these mf's spittin. The rapping and rhyme schemes are pretty impressive considering someone who isn't a rapper wrote it, like you could imagine Jay or Nas spitting a bar with a similar rhyme structure or cadence. It's Dope live because i feel like it's probably easier to fukk up rapping lyrics than just singing a song, especially when the lyrics are telling a story and can go on for a long while. shyt is probably a lot doper live than watching it on TV but I haven't watched it yet on disney plus

It's out. It's not as good as seeing it on stage...but this is the original Broadway cast, so call it a wash.

Either way, it's fukking brilliant and one of my favorite works of art ever.

I saw it a couple of years ago live here in Denver. This is the first time I’ve seen it with the original cast. I gotta admit, I liked some of the Denver performers better than the OGs, but every time I see it or listen to the album, it blows my fukkin mind that Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote this whole thing. Easily one of the most impressive feats in art ever.

It is unreal how good the two performers were that played Angelica and King George. Just on a completely different level.

Eliza, Burr, and Lafayette/Jefferson were on point too but those first two were god-level

Watching it again. I am honestly STUNNED at Angelica's solo song. I can't believe a piece of Broadway can be that good. I don't think I could ever watch this with a different cast and not be disappointed in whoever is playing that role.
