I like the character in the comics, so I'm not feeling what they did here at all with the arm bands.

I haven't really been keeping up with this show and its development at all so I was surprised to see that instead of controlling her body's molecules they have Kamala using what looks like Quasar's Quantum Bands to create constructs and shyt.
Guess that is easier to do with CGI than have her stretching and changing size a lot.

Also this is giving more Runaways on Hulu vibes than any of the Disney+ shows just based off that trailer.

yea, this is a kid's show, and the anticipation of MCU tie-ins just isn't there. I don't give a rat's ass if Carol Danvers shows up

i refuse to have any other opinions b/c this is about to become the new thing the biggest pieces of shyt on the internet complain about, and i want no association with them.

... well not true, the powers look corny (as they always have) and the girl's acting seems... i'm sure she's a good kid.

Her personality in the teaser comes off as more of that generic likable witty quippy person they've been giving to every character since tony stark made it hot.
Basically her, Peter parker, antman, kate bishop, yelena romanov, tony stark and starlord, all have the same personality.

It looks ok. Typical coming of age superhero story. I'll watch it just cause i watch everything mcu but I'm not really anticipating it. I'm waiting for moonknight and she hulk.

I mean It works, especially when the actor has decent comedic timing on their own. but it's still too many class clowns in the MCU. not enough badassery (characters like blade and daredevil coming back soon though) We got plenty of Brendon Frazier, time for some Bruce Willis, some Arnold & Stallone.

the rumor is they changed it to resemble captain marvel's and spectrum's powers more because she would be weak compared to them.
also because they want to keep the stretchy powers for mister fantastic
her powers will be the same in the sequel
