Considering what happened in the post credit scene, the CEO might be in on the hack and know that Elliot can take the fall/blame on all of this. Dudes like because everything is going according to plan, the spokeperson didn't have anything left after the hack but the CEO was more than fine giving Beta some money for nice new shoes...

I mean, it all depends on what are White Rose's plan and what has he told to the people at that "dinner" in the last scene

Is the CEO set himself up as a 'savior' to the masses to resolve and save them from the mess the anti-christ. Is Angela going to become Judas and sell Elliot out?

For all we know white rose could be a double agent and playing everyone, he could be the real villian. Even though I still think Tyrell and his wife are the real villians because we don't know their end game. And Vera is still roaming the streets. And in one interview esmail said that law enforcement will get involved. Now I can see how this can last for a couple seasons.
