“Im an artist”

“The man who pulled the sword out if the stone, bret hart”. - … BRET HART

Believe a man speaking in third person about how he a real hero and wouldnt go back cuz he said they killed owen to get back at him with a straight face until cop told him no. Bret is the only person in the world who thought wwf killed owen on liveppv to get back at him. Its absurd.

Idk how anyone watches this and doesnt see his ego is out of control and always had been. His wcw request of 1 dollar more than hogan shows that… only for hogan to make 5x what bret made the next year. He has serious insecurity issues. He let shyt goto his head and never had a grasp of the business like he thinks which is why he failed in wcw when put on the spot live. He needed wwe to look good. Like vince said, he thinks he was a REAL champion.

Even cornette said he had to laugh because of the artist quote because while bret WAS one, only people who take themselves super seriously tell others they are and he was dying cause its always bret being that guy.

And thats with bret being my fav wrestler as a kid post hulk era and top 5 to this day for me. I looked up to him a lot. I thought he was a great role model and still is but noone loves THE HITMAN more than bret hart.
Like I said before in this thread and all the time, he's the GOAT, but he's so full of it. I literally did :snoop: at the part where he said he thought they killed Owen to get back at him. shyt like that is why I can understand why Martha doesn't fukk with Bret and the rest of the Hart family like that anymore.

Great wrestler but delusional human being.

I'm sure the adults or teenagers knew it was a complete work even if they didn't know how, but as a child it felt like I was suddenly watching Nightmare on Elm St. Imagine you came home from work and saw your child was watching that :damn:

When Undertaker was doing that zombie stuff it never moved me but he was on some other shyt around that time :lupe:

after reading bret's book i understood why she stayed away too. they're all their own brand of crazy. i love bret but he's up his own ass a little bit, does not have a lot of introspection about himself. even shawn has managed to be more honest than him with certain things over the years.

I don't remember any controversy at the time.
It wasn’t.

I remember Kurt Angle being pissed off about it happening in ECW and him saying that he wouldn’t sign with them because of it. Then he immediately signed with WWF and then this happened. I’m not positive but I bet you can find the clip of it being talked about when Raven did it, but you WONT find him speaking on the WWF one

Off topic but I always wondered why Vince had so much love/respect for ECW?

Having them pretty much takeover a RAW show in 95 didn't help put over WWF. Letting Lawler show up at ECW doesn't help WWF. Vince said that he had Paul on payroll to pay him back for poaching ECW's talent, but we know Vince has no moral qualms about poaching talent or he would have paid AWA, Mid-Atlantic or all the other territories he poached talented from when he took over WWF.

Why did Vince care about ECW so much?

Paul e dangerously was in marketing for studio 54.
The entire explosion of america as a pop construct. May have come from the mind of Paul e.

The Kurt ECW thing was because Raven and them crucified sandman.

You're mixing up bossman and taker with Austin being "tied" to undertaker's symbol.

The point stands though, I don't remember hearing anything negative about this from Kurt.

The bossman thing, I genuinely don't remember outrage, but I don't know.

Just finished, Vince was a genius :lupe:

He reminds me of that dude who jacked McDonalds, they’d put business over breathing air.

Ain't that the fukkin truth. I remember when I finished watching "The Founder" I was like got damn Ray Kroc was a scummy piece of shyt. But he was about his paper. Vince definitely in the same vein. Just finished episode 3, bout to call it a night. Vince talking about Turner raiding him, being like just because I'm complaining don't think I believe what I'm saying some diabolical shyt. Then the Hit Goat shyt "I don't regret anything"

:demonic:

Once I saw Vince actually participated it was instant :camby:. Only so real you can keep it with his sign off.

This shyt was terrible....you'd learn more reading the WWE's wikipedia page. It wasn't even about Vince...why the fukk are you talking about how Cena found his rapping gimmick and Taker losing the streak :gucci:

Who gives a shyt. Just straight up A-Z of WWE more than a character study of Cokeboy. I'm sure it's entertaining for non-wrestling fans but it ain't for weirdos like us.
maybe I misunderstood but the intent of this wasnt to be an expose of Vince...
it was supposed to be a general doc on Vince and WWE.
They switched up the focus while creating it because he stepped down and the lawsuits started as they were making it

I havent followed wrestling since I was a kid but im enjoying it
