got damn, I don’t remember the crowd chanting “slut” at Steph after the marriage angle. Girl was “roofied” and taken against her will. Neckbeards always been :scust:

Then Cokeboy wanting to air the real wedding on PPV and calling her selfish for not wanting it. :what:

That's less a neckbeard thing and more a 90s thing

“Im an artist”

“The man who pulled the sword out if the stone, bret hart”. - … BRET HART

Believe a man speaking in third person about how he a real hero and wouldnt go back cuz he said they killed owen to get back at him with a straight face until cop told him no. Bret is the only person in the world who thought wwf killed owen on liveppv to get back at him. Its absurd.

Idk how anyone watches this and doesnt see his ego is out of control and always had been. His wcw request of 1 dollar more than hogan shows that… only for hogan to make 5x what bret made the next year. He has serious insecurity issues. He let shyt goto his head and never had a grasp of the business like he thinks which is why he failed in wcw when put on the spot live. He needed wwe to look good. Like vince said, he thinks he was a REAL champion.

Even cornette said he had to laugh because of the artist quote because while bret WAS one, only people who take themselves super seriously tell others they are and he was dying cause its always bret being that guy.

And thats with bret being my fav wrestler as a kid post hulk era and top 5 to this day for me. I looked up to him a lot. I thought he was a great role model and still is but noone loves THE HITMAN more than bret hart.
As someone who watched Wrestling with Shadows back in the day, I empathize with Bret for how he was treated in Montreal, but even I had the :dahell: face when he said that.

The 90s was filled with "teen angst" among the white male demographic. So shyt like The Attitude Era and Kid Rock and Limp Bizkit and all that "I'M GONNA fukk SOME shyt UP DUDE" kind of attitude was prevalent in those spaces...

WWE became a family show after the Benoit incident.

But now some years later, That "dude bro" incel culture is starting to creep back in... it's in video game culture, YouTubers, That weird pickup artist shyt you see in TLR, UFC is huge with those types and of course Donald Trump rallies.

Did you learn anything new?

Not really but there was a lot that I had forgotten because it’s been years since I’ve really watched wrestling and now looking back at a lot of it, it was just crazy to see a lot of it thru a different lens years later now as a grown man

I was a kid in the 90’s watching wrestling and a teenager in the early 2000’s watching wrestling so a lot of stuff i had forgotten about

The one thing I didn’t know about was Vince’s lawsuit about the roids and sick perverts who worked for Vince around the company :scust:
