Yeah that's my next piece . I have a feeling thoe that the next live will have some dedicated buttons maybe some CV gates etc . I want a standalone but I'm wait a year to get it one cause anit no telling what coming out next .

Yeah it's something I might want to get into. I might have to buy a 404sx now that set ol dude khryo is the best shyt I've seen in while . Every time I watch it I can't help but bob by head ...I guess YouTube would be the place to start . After the the legendary underground of the SP Fourms . They kinda a$$holes but DiBiase answers question over there sometimes . Start in those two places ...

Wait till April or the next NAMM event . Im pretty sure the the codeing for that device in this thread is another device . I really want to know what is a "MPC Live mk2" is . Here's the link. I want a standalone device but I want make that purchase this year only purchase this year is the SP2400 ...

I'm about to get in the game!!!!

I might jump on this... I'm going to wait up to 3 months though for the reviews because I got burnt with the 500. Support was beyond shytty and AKAI only got the OS right at the death of its existence.

This could still be a long term production solution despite some of the stripped features in comparison to the Live. I like the traditional look of the 90's-2000's MPC units and the One has dedicated buttons as well as touchscreen functionality. Add a external hard drive and headphones then you're good!

they stepped their game up a lot because of maschine and daws becoming major players.

even their product output and update timeframe now is a lot more frequent.

In my original post, I said I was gonna wait 3 months, then purchase one.... I couldn't wait, so I got one almost 2 weeks ago.

For people getting this do you plan to track it out into a DAW or do everything in the box? Or can you import a project into a DAW?

I don't have a studio setup so I'll be mostly tracking and importing to DAWs for finishing tracks at other studio, but as far as the production, this is my only piece of equipment... for now.
