This could even somewhat redeem the view of Anakin from the prequels too. Show his rise to actual power and how he moved through the ranks of the Empire, all the while becoming more enchanted with the power of the dark side. The prequels made dude out to be a manipulated teenager but Vader in Episodes 4/5 didn’t give a fukk and was one of the GOAT villains. Choking people via FaceTime, throwing Han in a freezer, chopping his son’s hand off, all with no remorse. Let’s see how he went from screaming “I hate you” like some pissy teenager to becoming the most feared enforcer in the galaxy.

shyt, they could even have an act with him looking for his kids and then giving up before totally committing to the dark side if they want to add a human element.
