It is the greatest wtf conversation piece in after hours after party nightlife and movie history.

You knew an after party was next level.
if blade runner was playing on a large projector.
to a white sheet somewhere in the venue.

90s was weird and cool....my mother was letting me, in my teens, go up north (I stayed south side Chicago) and catch the occasional “midnight movie.” That’s how I first watched Bladerunner.

Truth be told, the ambiance, pacing, and length of the film, coupled with the time of night, kinda made me doze off a couple times. Always loved the visuals tho.

But to reiterate, it wasn’t mostly the late showtime. I also caught Reservior Dogs at midnight at some point, and was all in the entire time.
