Man, I really like Jumper. I wanted to see the mom (Dianne Lane) go after David (Anakin) and to see the lore of “jumpers” further explained/explored, but it flopped.

I was hoping for a Jumper sequel for years like I was hoping for a Chronicles sequel too.

youtube had a Jumper universe series though called "Impulse".

There’s really a low hanging fruit one... that’s an elephant in the room and we all wanna say.

But no one wants to say it:mjlol:

It’s all good:russ:

Moving along.... John Carter was another one. I actually enjoyed that movie and would’ve loved to see a sequel

Another movie ruined by mediocre reviews, but to be fair the summer of 2008 was stacked

I remember I was in 8th grade when this came out and I was a huge fan of the old speed racer cuz I saw reruns of it when I was little, but never saw this movie because the new show that came out around this time wasn't that good. (I liked it enough to watch it but I knew it wasn't good.)

That might explain a little why this flopped. The older generation of fans was too old to go see it and there was no real new generation of fans that would watch this because they didn't like the new show.

Side note: There's an auto museum I visited recently in Orlando that has this movie's Mach 5 in it and it's for sale. I wanna cop it so bad. :damn:

Speed Racer was released in between Iron Man and Indiana Jones so it had no chance

I never saw this.
I may try this one out.

Art Barr
Underrated movie
Definitely go check out
Two reasons why I think the movie flopped
It was up against one of the Twilight movies at the box office.
It was hard to convince people that Martin Scorsese directed a legit great family movie

Mile in the Sky
Cut Throat Island was one of the biggest flops ever, (made only 10 million on an almost 100 million dollar budget :deadmanny:)blamed on pirates only for pirates of the carribean to become a huge franchise less than a decade later.
