MoviePass: It's Back (Different tiers, use at any participating theaters)

There's some kind of glitch going on with the app now. It's letting me check in for movies but I'm nowhere near the theater. I just checked in to a movie from my house at a theater 30 mins away...

There’s a landmark near me that just started e ticketing. Went there to see equalizer 2 and they have complementary popcorn and soda. Never seen that shyt before. I’m gonna need MoviePass to stick around a while so I can get keep getting these unlimited movies, popcorn and soda for $10.

THEIR PLAN WAS TO STRONG ARM THEATRE CHAINS INTO CUTTING DEALS WITH THEM TO SHARE A PERCENTAGE OF TICKET AND CONCESSION REVENUE

BUT TO MY KNOWLEDGE, NONE OF THE BIG CHAINS CAVED IN YET

THE WAY I SEE, THE THEATRES REALIZE THEY HAVE MORE LEVERAGE, CONSIDERING MOVIEPASS IS SURE TO GO UNDER IF NO ONE CUTS A DEAL

SO THEY NOT GOIN FOR IT THE WAY MOVIEPASS EXPECTED

Sinemia's alright...they don't tell you upfront that 3D/imax is once per month.

App is shyttier than MP's too...and their CS is atrocious...you gotta get on twitter for a response.

Yeah when it works, it's dope, they even allow advance tix/website purchases which is nice. I've used it a few times to watch movies on the same day I used MP

yeah, had trouble a couple times...tried to do IMAX JP, but it wasn't showing up in the app, despite the fact I was at the theater...and when I wanted to rewatch Incredibles, I checked in but the card was declined. They reimbursed me for that one after showing them my ticket stub and them verifying their card supposedly went through, but me having to pay outta pocket
