I didn't really see it as dumb. I have 0 stake in this woman's life either but having sudden money and being able to sustain a different lifestyle than you once had is hard. It ain't exactly uncommon to hear about it going the wrong way. That's why there are so many lotto stories with bad endings.

Now the life insurance policy thing is dumb as hell. I've lived in quite a few neighborhoods a lot of people don't want to step into. There are people who live there who could barely afford health insurance or not have any at all. A life insurance policy, even in a high-risk neighborhood, would be kind of dumb and an extra thing to pay. Lots of parents fear their kids dying, sure, but I'm sure a lot of people would consider going that extra step a bit weird.

Bruh the money she has is not life changing but it is enough to move to a better neighborhood...apparently this woman is a stripper so should be able to maintain a decent place without having "life skill"....

This woman didn't get insurance money though so it's not the same thing! She received money from a Go Me Fund which specifically stated the money would be used for her son's funeral.
If the woman actually had insurance & used that money to purchase a car, this is a totally a different circumstance all together which no one would give a fukk about
because technically she's paid a portion of her own money to the insurance company & the insurance policy/money is hers, not other peoples.
