In Texas a woman got off by shooting a man at a gas station. She went and popped trunk for a 12 gage. This was after the assailant cussed her out and called her a bytch. She was never attacked and the woman got off.

That was Texas...this is Chicago where the assailant has a criminal past and the victims were law abiding citizen whose 14 yr old child was witnessing his mother getting beat on by a thug.

This should be interesting to watch because this is almost similar to NYC subway stabbing.

I don't think it's as simple as this breh. The "Witness" was the victim's girlfriend and was described as laughing and antagonizing the situation.

I don't know the details, but it's possible that the mother could have perceived the girlfriend as a threat too, because it sounds like she was cheering on her boyfriend beating her ass.

Still wasn't ok for her to direct her son to do all this, but it's possible that she just freaked out after a grown ass man attacked her.
