I loved so much 1988-2008 Hip-Hop its hard to pick a favorite rapper, let alone a favorite song, let alone a favorite verse....

But Mos' verse on Thieves in the Night on the Blakstarr album......Every single thing about the verse is awe inspiring.

To then have the B.OB.S album after and move back into a successful movie career...not sure what else I expected. He was never going to be on your radios like that.

Mos is the poster child for an artistic spirit that let his disillusionment sabotage his trajectory. I feel he went out of his way to not subscribe to what the expectations dictated and in his interview with Talib you can see and hear him tell it,he marches to his own drum and pressure seems to antagonize him.

Black on Both Sides is one of the greatest albums released period. That’s all I need from him really.

One of the greatest rap talents ever. I always felt like if he chose to rap about other shyt, like the fantasy/street stuff the masses love so much, he'd be held in wayyyyyy higher regard by the people than he is. On some straight rap shyt he's way better than a lot of the people yall rank above him.

The thing with artists like Mos is that what makes them great and unique as artists is also what can make them frustrating to follow as a fan. They're idiosyncratic and refuse to conform to expectations and just take their own path instead of having a conventional career.

You see it with people like Andre 3000 and D'Angelo.

As a fan you get greedy and want more music but at the end of the day you have to respect the path they take.

I’m in here listening to Black On Both Sides right now while smoking some Ganja…

That song Got was so real. Makes me wanna find a AC coupe.

I still have my copy in my book. I brought it off Amazon for a steal back in Summer 2016.
