In this game they need to show love to the 3D era. Outside of Kenshi and Quan Chi they act like it doesn’t exist. 
They have a lot of dope characters from that era that would benefit from the NRS treatment.

MK11 is boring. They tried too hard to make a "real" fighting game and lost some of their identity
After a game like MKX, which was fast as fukk, you don't deviate from that and make a game where it feels like nikkas are fighting in mud
They also toned down the offense. You can tell NRS felt like MKX may have been too overwhelming for a lot of players so they dumbed it down. This is the reason a lot of pros have gone back to playing X. The fukkery is glorious
